How to Apply for Member-Organized Sessions

Member-Organized Sessions are independently planned and conducted symposia, workshops, or other sessions intended to disseminate research findings from projects supported by external research funding provided by public organizations and foundations, such as the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) and the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST).
Applications open on Friday, November 13, 2026. Please follow the application instructions to submit your proposal.
To apply, please review the instructions in the application form, complete all required fields, and email the form to s-taikai2026[at]jset.gr.jp (replace [at] with @) by December 14, 2026.
The application deadline for Member-Organized Sessions is December 14, 2026.
Applicants will be notified of acceptance decisions by Thursday, December 17, 2026.
If your proposal is accepted, you must transfer a session fee of JPY 20,000, separate from the conference registration fee, to the bank account designated by the Society by Tuesday, January 12, 2027. Bank account details will be provided with the acceptance notification.
