The Board of Directors of the Japan Society for Educational Technology supports the resolution titled “Amendment of the Bill on the Science Council of Japan”, which was passed by a majority at the 194th General Assembly of the Science Council of Japan.

 We believe that the current bill fails to meet the necessary requirements for autonomy and independence expected of a national academy. We strongly call for a fundamental revision of the bill.
